SUGARCANE

Sugarcane is also able to produce sugar by crushed cane.  Sugar in the cane sugar, Sucrose, is free whereas in fruit sugar, Fructose, it is bound sugar available in the form of glycosides. The structure is also regular as another sugar but the process in making sugar is different. 70 percent sugar in the industry was produced from sugarcane and the prices were cheaper than sugar produced by sugar beet.
